How long do custom-molded earplugs last?
They can last from 1 to 5 years, depending on the intensity of use and the care provided. Replacement is advised if the ear’s shape changes or if the earplugs show signs of wear.
How to maintain molded earplugs?
Weekly cleaning with a soft cloth and warm soapy water is sufficient. Avoid solvents or abrasive products. Cleaning kits can be provided at the clinic.
